The Wave Work Station in New York, NY, is the result of Urban A&O’s ongoing exploration into digital design, driven by parametric modeling and physical prototyping at various scales. This project pushes the boundaries of traditional architecture by moving beyond formal and geometric design, focusing instead on innovative programmatic, structural, and economic parameters. The Wave Work Station serves as a dynamic example of how cutting-edge technologies can create new possibilities in architectural form and function.
Through parametric modeling and physical prototyping at a variety of scales, we continued our interests and work in digital design with the WAVE WORKSTATION and explored the possibilities for creating new architectural forms.
We are looking beyond the formal or geometric toward new programmatic, structural, and economic parameters.
